Since qualifying as a professional Makeup Artist in 2012, Abbigail Richards has worked across stages and screens worldwide, lending her artistry to some of the most iconic productions in entertainment.
Her career began in Theatre, where she contributed to renowned musicals including Wicked, The Lion King, Cats, Les Misérables, Kinky Boots, 42nd Street, and many more. A defining moment came when she toured Asia with Wicked, helping bring the spectacular production to audiences in Singapore, Hong Kong, China, and beyond.
In 2020, Abbigail transitioned from Theatre to TV and Film, where she has since flourished — working on a range of celebrated productions and helping bring beloved characters to life. Her portfolio spans collaborations with leading platforms such as Netflix, Apple TV, Hulu, Starz, ITV, and BBC, with her artistry featured on both global screens and in prestigious publications.
A standout career milestone came in 2021, when Abbigail was honoured to be a part of the winning team of the Television Academy Emmy Award for Outstanding Period and Character Hairstyling on Bridgerton — a true testament to her skill, dedication, and creative vision.
